Achievement Centres are a new model of inclusive provision
of public services - a resource for disabled children
and young people, their families, carers and those professionals
who work with them, at the heart of an inclusive community
centre committed to local regeneration.
An operational pilot for Achievement Centres can be
demonstrated at High Green Development Trust’s
(HGDT) Paces Campus, based in Sheffield.
HGDT and Paces have, in collaboration with other organisations,
established the first UK Achievement Centre. The benefits
of Achievement Centres to individuals, local communities
and government are significant and HGDT and Paces wish
to offer their experience to assist in the establishment
of more Achievement Centres.
